Kay Dewar

Kay M. Dewar is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, currently residing in the city of Bremerton, Washington. She was employed as a Graphics Designer with the University of Washington for over 30 years and is now retired.

As a fine artist Kay has exhibited in solo shows and in local, regional, and international group shows. Her artwork is published in American Artist Magazine (“Drama in Black, White and French Gray”, June 2005), American Artist Drawing Magazine (Winter 2004), the Best of Colored Pencil 3 (1996), Best of Colored Pencil 4 (1998) and Best of Colored Pencil 5 (1999) Rockport Publishers.

She is a juried Member of Women Painters of Washington. Also, finding colored pencil to be a favorite medium, she has been actively involved in the Colored Pencil Society of America, earning Signature and Merit Membership and serving first as Membership Director, Corporate Image Director/Webmaster and currently as the Webmaster.
