Pamela Harold
I love working with watercolor, trying to capture the wonder of the world around me and to help others see their environment in a new way. The process of painting is an exciting challenge. I plan my paintings carefully but they evolve as the work progresses. Color is one of the most important elements in my work as well as line and structure. I paint a wide variety of subjects as I want to challenge myself to master new ideas. My subjects include landscape, people, animals, and architecture . I am experimenting with including my written poetry in my compositions. I never feel totally in control of the watercolors but the exciting process of working with a fluid medium is very exciting. The conception of ideas and the actual process of painting is my passion, the finished painting is a bonus.
